Avery Yun

As Director of Marketing & Communications at SSF, Avery develops outreach strategies, communication materials, and educational initiatives that expand awareness of allergen-safe food access. Her background in chemistry and biological sciences informs her commitment to scientifically accurate and community-centered messaging for families managing dietary restrictions. Avery plays a key role in strengthening SSF’s public engagement and digital presence.

Beyond SSF, Avery has conducted research at Stanford University’s Wu Lab, where she studied G-protein–coupled receptors involved in bone density regulation and osteoporosis therapy. Her combined experience in scientific research and communication supports her dedication to making health information accessible, inclusive, and empowering for underserved communities.
